Due to unforeseen circumstances caused by Hurricane Francine, we have made adjustments to the schedule for this week for both Thursday and Friday!
1) THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 12TH – Today we are only running 6 routes. These are routes that are in the rural parts of the parish. 5 of these routes are normal 1x per week Thursday routes and 1 of the routes is a normal 1x per week Wednesday route in the Slidell area.
2) FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH – We will only be running 1x per week routes. We will be servicing customers in the City of Mandeville and the City of Covington that are normally serviced 1x per week on Wednesdays. We will also be servicing all 1x per week customers that are normally serviced on Fridays . Please have your cart(s) to the curb tonight or by 4am Friday morning.
3) Any customers that currently receive 2x per week service on Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday — we will not be running your second collection day (Thursday or Friday) this week. This includes the City of Slidell, Garbage District #1 (Tammany Utilities), Eden Isles, Oak Harbor, Lakeshore Estates, Lakeshore Villages, and several HOA’s across St. Tammany Parish. We will resume your 2x per week service next week.
4) We are not running any boom trucks today or tomorrow in any of the municipalities that we service. We will resume running the scheduled zones next week. Please check our website for when we will be in your area.
5) Recycling for Wednesday and Thursday was canceled for earlier this week. We will resume our normal recycling schedule next week.
6) As you begin your clean up process, we ask that you please not overload your household garbage cart(s) with storm debris. (Branches, fence boards, etc) If you do place green waste in your cart(s), please bag the waste. The lid must be closed or not open more than 6 inches so that we can service the cart.
We appreciate your patience and understanding over the past several days as we needed to make adjustments to our collection schedule due to Hurricane Francine. We look forward to getting back to our normal schedule next week.
Please continue to monitor our Facebook page and website for any further updates.

TUESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE!!!
GARBAGE COLLECTION SCHEDULE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THIS WEEK!
The 10am weather update has shifted the projected track of Francine a little further to the east. There is also some discussion that there could be another nudge to the east when the 4pm update comes out. This puts Francine coming closer to our area than what was projected last night. The safety of our TEAM members and their families is our top priority. Based on the new update, and for the safety of our TEAM members, we have adjusted our garbage collection schedule for the remainder of this week.
1) NO RECYCLING – Recycling is canceled for Wednesday and Thursday of this week!!
2) NO GARBAGE SERVICE ON WEDNESDAY!! We are not running any residential garbage routes, including debris trucks, on Wednesday September 11th. Please remove your cart(s) from the curb and place in a secure location until the storm has passed our area.
3) We will run all normally scheduled Wednesday routes, this includes the residents of the City of Mandeville and the City of Covington, on Thursday September 12th. Please place your cart(s) to the curb by 5am on Thursday morning. We may start a little later than normal so that we can make sure all roads are clear and debris has been removed from the roadways. Please continue to watch our Facebook page and website for updates.
4) All regularly scheduled 1x per week Thursday customers will be serviced on Thursday as normal. Please have your cart(s) to the curb by 5am on Thursday morning.
5) Customers that normally have 2x per week service on Monday and Thursday of each week will not receive service on Thursday. We will resume your service on your next collection day which will be Monday September 16th.
6) At this current time, our plan is to run all regularly scheduled Friday routes as normal. There will not be any changes to the Friday routes.
7) We will not be collecting any Green Waste/Bulky Waste on Thursday and Friday of this week. We will resume normal schedule next week.
8 ) At this time, our plans are to resume our normal garbage and recycling schedules starting on Monday September 16th.
9) Our office will be closed on Wednesday September 11th. Our current plan is to reopen on Thursday morning.
We never want to put our TEAM members in harm’s way. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to navigate having garbage safely collected prior to and after the storm. We hope that all of our customers are prepared for Francine and stay safe before, during, and after the storm has passed.
9/9/24 – 4:30PM
ATTENTION CES CUSTOMERS!!!
As a precaution, we ask that once your cart has been serviced today, tomorrow, and Wednesday, that you please remove your cart(s) from the curb and place in a secure location until the storm has passed your area. This will help avoid carts floating away on any streets that may flood due to excessive rainfall and/or carts being blown over due to high winds.
As always, we appreciate your support!
9/9/24 – 3:30PM
MONDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE!!!
RECYCLING CANCELLED ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY!!
We will be running our normal routes on Tuesday September 10th. Please have your cart(s) to the curb tonight or by 4am tomorrow morning. Once you cart has been serviced, we ask that you remove it from the curb and place in a secured location.
As of right now, our plan is to run our regular garbage routes on Wednesday September 11th. All recycling routes for Wednesday September 11th and Thursday September 12th are CANCELLED. We ask that all residents please place their recycling cart/bin in a secure location.
We have not yet made a decision about garbage service on Thursday. A lot will depend on the track and timing of when Francine makes landfall and the impacts the storm will have to the areas we service. (Wind damage, flooding, power outages, etc)
9/9/24 – 1:30PM
It is important for our customers on the Northshore to start your storm preparations as Tropical Storm Francine is currently projected to make landfall as a Hurricane Wednesday afternoon/evening somewhere along the Louisiana coast. As of right now, we will certainly feel some impact from this Hurricane. The effects will be greater should the projected path move any further to the East. Either way, everyone should stay tuned and be prepared.
We are the Storm Debris Contractor for the City of Slidell, Louisiana . This video provides residents for the City of Slidell, as well as residents in other areas, some guidance on what to do with the storm debris once you begin the process of cleaning up after the storm has left the area.
1) All debris must be put at the curb. Storm Debris should not be put in bags.
2) Please put debris in separate piles. Green Waste in one pile, Construction Debris in another pile, Mattresses in another pile, white goods in another pile.
3) Please keep all debris piles at least 3 feet away from mailboxes, vehicles, fences, utility boxes, etc.
4) Please do not place storm debris under low hanging wires or tree branches.
5) Please do not put storm debris in your garbage cart(s). Your cart(s) should be used for household garbage only. All household garbage should be bagged and placed in your cart(s).
Please continue to watch our Facebook page and website for further updates. Also please continue to watch for updates from your local government officials and local weather stations for further updates on Tropical Storm Francine.
