There are 4 Recycling Centers

The locations for the Recycling Centers will be as follows:
  1. Soccer Complex — Longfellow Drive, Bay St Louis
  2. 688 Hwy 90, Bay St Louis
  3. 301 Coleman Ave, Waveland
  4. 5000 Diamondhead Drive, Diamondhead
Please see below for the list of materials that are acceptable for Recycling and the list of materials that are not accepted by the Recycling Processing Plant.
Please make sure not to put any glass or plastic bags in the recycling centers. These items are not accepted by the Recycling Process Center and are considered to be contaminated waste.

Plastic containers come with a number printed on them ranging from one to seven. This number is used to identify the type of plastic used in the creation of the product. Not all plastics are recyclable. There are numerous plastic-based products that cannot break down and cannot be recycled. For example, if a plastic container has a number three printed on the bottle, that indicates that the water bottle has been made from polyvinyl chloride. If the plastic container has a number five, it means that it’s been made of polypropylene. Both Polyvinyl chloride and polypropylene are two materials that are not accepted by most public recycling centers.
